| The concept of XJ6 model Jaguar's competing on racetracks was formed in 1995 by Jaguar enthusiasts as a means of introducing a new class of inexpensive motor sport.
During the past 14 years many changes have occurred with the implementation of sponsorship deals, creating an introductory class in the Lites series and the formation of the Jaguar XJ6 Sprinters Drivers Association. Our Association now has 50 members from both interstate and overseas who regularly compete in our unique series.
Regulations for both classes provide controls as to what changes can be made to the vehicles with the aim of keeping the costs of building and running a car affordable.
2009 will see the introduction of another class of Sprinter, the Modified Sprinter. This new class will allow members to develop their car without most of the restrictions imposed on the other 2 classes. |
